Overweight and psychology – where is the connection?
Many of us have repeatedly tried to lose weight and improve the quality of our bodies! But not many people know how this is connected with your psyche. If you do not solve psychological problems, you will also continue to gain weight from time to time, or it will always seem that nothing is changing, thereby chasing the ideal in your head, and he will be at the same distance from you.
So what is the psychosomatics of excess weight?
Let’s look at the psychological causes of excess weight.
- Low self-esteem – people who are insecure often over-consume food, which leads to excess weight. So they believe they are becoming more noticeable, or they seize a negative assessment in their direction.
- Stress eating is a prevalent cause of excess weight. With negative emotions, we try to eat something tasty to cheer up, just like we did in childhood. If the stress is frequent and every time it happens in a circle, then this leads to weight gain.
- Translation of negative thoughts into real life – it is not without reason that psychologists say that our negative thoughts are material. A person with problems with excess weight is often fixated on the fact that he is worse than others. Someone perceives this as a punishment of fate; someone considers himself weak-willed and unable to change.
- Protection from others – eating in excess, and building up fat, makes it possible to hide, hide from the outside world.
There are many psychological reasons for excess weight, which do not lead to a healthy body and self-love. Having dealt with the incredible fullness and getting rid of them, you can lose weight, get the highest quality of the body, and enjoy yourself.
If you have found any of the reasons listed above, I will be glad to see you at my consultation above, where we can deal with them and then eliminate the causes of excess weight.
